How To Operate The Double Adaptor VHF Bug Listening Device Operation of the Double Adaptor VHF Bug is simple and fast. Simply plug the bug into a power outlet. You can even plug appliances into it as the Double Adaptor VHF bug is also a Double Adaptor. Remember to turn the power on at the power outlet. Use an FM radio with the dial as this will give you the best performace when tuning the radio to the bugs frequency. Start at the lower range of the FM band and slowly adjust the dial till you hear a squelch then silence and your set ready to go.

General Operation
These listening devices can pick up conversations and sounds within a 10-15 metre radius and transmit them to a dedicated VHF receiver or FM radio to a distance of up to 100 metres with good clarity. It is extremely simple to setup. Connect to power, tune a AM/FM Radio to somewhere between 88 and 95 MHz (play some music or make noise so when you tune the correct frequency you recognize the audio) and you’re away! No maintenance is required as these listening devices come fully assembled ready to plug in and transmit.
They are also a functioning power board and double adapter so you can power other devices.
